It’s a new year and there’s no better time to enhance your next retrospective meeting!
Below is a recording from the webinar "Secrets of Remote Retrospectives" featuring Esther Derby, retrospective expert, and David Horowitz, co-founder and CEO at Retrium. Check it out to learn all their tips and tricks for amazing retrospectives with a distributed team.
Esther Derby started her career as a programmer, and over the years she's worn many hats, including business owner, internal consultant, and manager. From all these perspectives, one thing became clear: our level of individual, team and company success was deeply impacted by our work environment and organizational dynamics. As a result, she has spent the last twenty-five years helping companies design their environment, culture, and human dynamics for optimum success. She's written over 100 articles, and co-authored two books–Agile Retrospectives: Making Good Teams Great and Behind Closed Doors: Secrets of Great Management. She writes about management, leadership, collaboration, organizations and change.
David Horowitz is the CEO and co-founder at Retrium, a software platform that makes it easy to run engaging and effective agile retrospectives. Prior to co-founding Retrium, he spent nearly a decade at The World Bank as a software developer turned agile coach. He is a repeat organizer of both the Retrospective Facilitators Gathering and World Retrospectives Day, and a frequent speaker on the agile conference circuit. He has a Master's Degree in Technology Management from The University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business. He's married to his college sweetheart and the father of three!
